Business papers and correspondence including deeds, tax receipts, shop accounts, lists of lumber used, store accounts, legal papers from a Wake County justice of the peace, 1811-1822, and business letters concerning plantation affairs. Several papers are those of J. Robert Jeffreys, probably the son of William Jeffreys, including a list of men drafted into service from Buffalo District, January 27, 1862.
